Wow. I would have thought that I would hear about a 23 year old man giving birth. :-D

I thought Arnie was the only guy in California whose had a baby! :-D

He had to carry the baby all that time. That's where the muscle problem came from. The baby is now in a stroller and Granpa and the rest of the family can help carry the load.
Mom already does her share.

Seriously - He will have a very good year of K's and W's.

I'm not convinced that Jerome Williams fits into this category. I just checked his stats, and his K/9 has gotten worse every year... Wins will be there, but not the strikeouts.. Tomko might strikeout more hitters then Jerome will!

I like Cliff Lee to K a bunch, also I think Dan Haren is someone that not many people expect much out of this year (though that quick hook in Oakland might hurt his IP and K totals).

Kelvim Escobar will go pretty late and could get 175 strikeouts. Kevin Millwood will outperform his draft position and get 150-160.
Derek Lowe will sneak 130-140 and his era will help out.

Because the As have a below average team in the best division.

Oakland has said that they intend to give their pitchers the hook early on, so as not to wear out their young arms/psyches. I think 10 wins is a good scenerio for Haren and his wins. And I think 125 is a good # for his k's.
