Sleepers - Strikeout Pitchers

Postby robcwarner34 » Fri Feb 11, 2005 3:43 pm

I like Weaver, Benson, Bonderman, Lieber, Clement, as guys that might be somewhat undervalued this year.

Who are your sleeper pitchers that should post good STRIKEOUT / WINS Totals this year.

Ted Lilly
Adam Eaton

watch out if they suddenly turn up healthy in spring:
Wade Miller
Randy Wolf

and, finally, though probably not a sleeper (high value relative to draft slot) anymore:
Scott Kazmir
• Aaron Hill: Avoids DL Jul 12 (RotoWire)
• Aaron Hill: Headed for DL Jul 12 (RotoWire)

haren in oakland might get around 150k depending on his innings. not so sure he will have a high win total though.

Rich Harden should put up a fair number of K's.

Jerome Williams - SF - if healthy, he's still young and had a baby last year during the season. He should be rested by now. lol

Lieber, Bonderman, Kazmir, Carpenter, Greinke, Adam Eaton, Joquain Benoit (if he gains consistency), and Freddy Garcia. Many of these had decent strikeout totals while mainting a low amount of walks. A little more consitency from a couple of them and they could be a real nice addition to a fantasy staff.

Wow. I would have thought that I would hear about a 23 year old man giving birth. :-D
