Red Sox third baseman Bill Mueller had to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee after intensified workouts in Arizona resulted in swelling and discomfort. He is expected to be sidelined for a month once again, but the club is confident he'll be ready for action midway through the Grapefruit League schedule.
