What I did last year was download some romantic sappy songs and burn her a CD (I paid for the songs). I printed out a nice cover for the CD etc... and gave it to her with flowers. She loved it. I think that I can recycle the idea for one more year (3 years would be pushing it but 2 I can get away with).
I've used up Norah Jones and Alicia Keys. I need your help for sappy emotional romantic crap to fill up this CD.
My idea is that if we can each come up with one tune we can get through this Valentine's Day one more year.
My first song is Usher - Make you wanna
So what are your suggestions brothers?
Usher - Make me Wanna was the actual song that brought me and my wife together when it came out. I was dating her best friend, and some stuff went down (*the word stuff was used because I haven't finished the novel yet that defines 'stuff') and me and my wife hooked up. If I included this song in anything this or any Valentine's Day, I would get to do anything I wanted to do to her for at least 3 weeks!
I went up into B in my collection and came up with these.
Aerosmith- Crazy Al Green- Call Me Beach Boys- Don't Talk (Put Your Head on My Shoulder) Beatles- I Will Bee Gees- To Love Somebody Big Star- I'm in Love With a Girl Billy Joel- Just the Way You Are Bob Dylan- I'll Be Your Baby Tonight

I'm just a little bit giddy after reading this line. My wife is pretty agreeable to my interests and experiments after 17 years of marriage, but even still, there are a few things that I can think of that I would do with that kind of blank check that make me a little lightheaded just thinking about. Zow.

I'm a lucky SOB! I have been able to cash quite a few blank checks with my wife/mother of two beautiful sons.
I just need to realize how lucky I am much more than I do!
