I just ripped open the package and I'm getting ready to dive in - has anyone used Beckett fantasy magazines before? Any opinions?

Never heard of Beckett fantasy magazines. Beckett is the leader in Baseball Card pricing magazines, but I haven't heard of them coming out with a fantasy magazine.

I'm only a few pages in and it's my first magazine of the year so I'm going to a bit biased, but I'll let you know what I think of it as soon as I have had a chance to read through it about 10 times. ;-D

They are under suspicion though right off the bat...Sexson isn't a bust - mark my word!!!

I had no idea Beckett made fantasy mags... over the past 10 years I've probably bought a couple hundred of their price guides, though. I think I'd trust a magazine that's "tried and true" to some extent, but with the budget they have who knows? Maybe they bought out all the fantasy pros to do this thing :-D

Oh, must be something new they are doing. Definetely give us a heads up when you figure out what's in it and how valuable it is.

I was just looking around on Beckett's site. Is this the magazine you have:

It seems more like a real baseball mag than a fantasy one, but nonetheless it will be good since it gives analysis on prospects and players joining new teams, and things like that. As far as I can tell it doesn't have rankings or dollar values, or anything like that though.
