It would apply better to the 2004 Tigers. They started off pretty decent last year and then went in the toilet the last couple of months. In 2003 they just played like ass the entire year.

Compared to the 03 Tigers? Yes, they were miles better. The 03 Tigers were perhaps the worst team in the history of baseball. How about the 03 Royals and the 04 Tigers? Royals again were much better. Since the Royals have come into existence they have been the overall better franchise.
