Well I live in rez and since you have for 4 years I can't give much advice that you don't already know about. The way I save $$$ is I go home once in a while and get my parents to buy me a ton of groceries so I can make all my own food for free. I got a meal plan last September (2003) and I still have $200 left on it. Most people I know are already through 2 entire meal plans in the same time span. So that's my secret to saving money. I say this as I eat my pita I just bought, and sip on my pepsi !+)

Buy lots of rice, potatoes and other starchy foods like pasta. It's pretty cheap and fills you up, while giving you energy.

EDIT: BTW, if you need beer on a budget, buy Pabst. It's like $3 for a 12 pack.

I didn't even think of beer because I'm only 17. I have no problem waiting until I'm 21 to drink, so it didn't come to mind.

I guess it's for the best. O:-)

$3 for a 12 of Pabst? Man, it's $12 here. I think that's the lowest legal price for beer in Ontario :~(

And I think I'm getting a deal when I get a 2-4 of Canadian for $30 :*)
