tex is awesome but i think u definitely took him too early and would rather have manny or helton over him

I would have rather had Manny or Helton, but it shouldn't be a death sentence.

Trust me. Taking Tex in the 1st will not cause you to lose your league. While it was a little early, you can still recoup and draft a nice team.

I think your in a good situation. I'm going to assume it it a snake draft. So i figure that it will be 7 picks till it gets back to you. You gotta figure that the next picks will be (R, Johnson,Schil, Manny, Helton,Bondsmaybe Prior) when it gets back to you there are still going to be quality players, maybe even M-cab. Now that would be nice. I'd think I'd have a chance to compete this years and many beyond with those 2 anchoring my team

If upside was a drug we'd have to check you into the Betty Ford clinic. How could you pass on Todd Helton if you wanted a 1B? Is there something I don't know about Helton?

I took Randy Johnson in the 2nd round with my pick. Hopefully, he'll off set the Teixeira pick.
