Makes alot more sense now. I haven't seen Metallica since the lineup change (and don't really plan on it either), but during their heyday they had no equal in terms of live sound.
Much to my surprise, I "discovered" Tesla in 2004. It was a surprise because I loved so much music when they were around and I just totally missed the boat. I had a friend in high school who said they rocked and I dismissed them because I thought the name of their band, and the "Signs" remake, were lame.
I was thinking these lyrics from Modern Day Cowboy would make a nice closer intro:
Cold as ice, hard as stone
as he walks into the room, with
another man who was feelin the same way
All hell's breakin loose
Bang Bang, shoot'em up
Bang Bang, blow you away
It's a showdown, in the no man's land
for the cowboy of the modern day.
Come on, sundown, don't be hangin 'round,
cause the cowboy will blow you away
“Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them.” --Henry David Thoreau
