This was my first mock of the season, and it wasn't good. Here it is:

12 team mock (roto or H2H not specified)

C: Pudge
1B: Pujols, Teixeira, Thome
2B: Marcus Giles, Lorretta
SS: Furcal
3B: Mueller, Blake
OF: Walker, Stewart, Kearns, Bernie, Mackowiak, DaVaaon

Pitchers: Mussina, Escobar, Kolb, Clement, Buehrle, Kazmir, Wells, Padilla, Lawrence, Contreras

How bad is it? :-o

Your catchers are good, and you're stacked at first base. Second base is solid as well.

Your outfield needs work though. Good thing it's only a mock. :-]

bad? hmmmm, it wasn't bad. the team looks pretty good to me. ;-D

you have 3 of the top 5 guys in 1B and you can't play them all at once. did you take them in the first 3 rounds? if this wasn't a mock, you would prolly have to trade one or two of those 1B for some pitching. if you have a UTIL you can prolly just trade one and play the other 1B in the UTIL spot.

same thing for 2B. giles and loretta are ranked 2 and 3 at 2B for me. you gonna have to trade one of them and i'm sure you can get decent value for them as 2B is not a deep position.

thing with making a trade after the draft is that you never know what you are gonna get. i'd prolly never draft loretta if i already have giles at 2B, i would prolly draft an OF or a SP, which are weak spots in your team.

your OFs have too many injury concerns. walker, stew and kearns all like to take some time off during the season and go to the DL.

your SPs are ok. i'm looking for mussina to have a good year. escobar, clement and buehrle are good pitchers, but i think what you need is a #1 guy for your team, someone in the top 10 in the SP posistion. perhaps instead of drafting thome or teix, you could have chosen a SP. also you need another closer in the team. you can grab someone like chad cordero, but make sure you get 2 closers on your team.

btw the kimchi chigae, i didnt know any other koreans played fantasy baseball

i think your OF's and P's are weak but the rest of your team is nice

I will have to agree with the other people .... your SP's and OF's are ok but could use some help! If this was a team in a league, you would have alot of trade bait to get better people ... so I would give your effort a "B" if I was grading it! ;-D

It looks to me like you probably missed the solid pitchers and outfielders because you took three 1st basemen early. That looks to be your only problem.
