CF for the Yankees

Is Bernie going to start in Cf or are the Yankees going to make a trade?

Grandma Bernie again in CF and fly balls will fall in the gap regularly -- like they have for the past 3 seasons.

Sign Johnson. Sign Pavano. Sign Wright. The balls out there still aren't going to be caught -- just like they weren't for Vazquez, Weaver, or Contreras.

Sooner or later they'll figure out the problem, but I thought that 2 seasons ago so who knows when that time will be. I thought maybe with getting Lofton last year they were slowly fazing Bernie out there, but it looks with Kenny gone it'll be another Weakend at Bernie's in 2005.

He can still hit & should be the DH-ing. Give him an occassional start in CF if need be.

wow yes bernie is old and his defense is subpar, and as long as that is the issue that is fine. But if you are addressing the player overall i'll take one of the lone non-all stars who hits .400 in the postseason as opposed to one that doesnt, even if he does 20 and 70 in the regular season.
