I think Monroe will get significant time this yr. The Tigers obviously have strength to deal in OF and White has a pretty attractive contract which could be easily moved. Its my understanding that its Higginson who just lost his job - he'll be one of the highest paid 4th OFs, but we cant drop him and he certainly isnt going to be dealt. Another option that has been rumored is that Sanchez gets benched and Monroe possibly slides into CF - I dont buy it myself but its not that much of a stretch - its not like Sanchez is much of an upgrade defensively over Monroe and clearly Monroe is the better hitter.
