is that to much for him? 14 team 5x5 roto league

Depends on your size budget and league rules, but assuming a $260 budget and a standard 5x5 lineup I would say that $20 is at value. Not the type of player I would spend $20 on relative to risk, but based on the likely output he is probably worth that assuming he does not blow his shoulder out on another check swing (err no more food suppliments).

I agree with TheYanks...not where I would spend my $20 compared to risk...but about oncourse for where he will go... :-)

he's at $25 right now, in my 12 team roto league, so $20 should be good.

I agree with the above two posts. $20 sounds about fair value in $260 5x5 but nothing to get excited about. If he can stay healthy, he could put some some serious numbers in Seattle, with their strong line-up. But that's a big "if"! With 1B as deep as it is, I'd rather grab someone more consistent like Huff for a few dollars more.

Also, place close attention to Delgado. His perceived value has taken a sharp dive in the minds of a lot of owners, because of his move to Pro Player. A definate buying opportunity for a guy who could hit 35 HR in Death Valley, and will be hitting clean-up in a very strong line-up.
