I'd take Baez, he'll get you a handful more K's and has more potential upside....

I have a hunch that Baez loses huis job by the end of 2006 to a guy by the name of Chad orvella. But for this year stricktly, I'd take Baez as Graves is a fluke.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

baez is solid and could get traded (imo) around the deadline to some team in need of a closer (and not wanting jorge julio. ;-) ). he's decent and young, and may end up on a good team.

that said, graves isn't trash. he won't get as many ops as he did last season (TOTAL fluke), but he's a decent option in the lower eschelon of closers.

Graves is a fluke, and has much more competition for his job than Baez. Baez is a solid closer for a cheap closer strategy that many people like to use, since they are such flukes.
