How many leagues per season ??

Postby oilcan » Sat Feb 05, 2005 11:09 am

How many different fantasy baseball leagues can you play in per season without losing track of player movement, waivers, and potential trade situation? Is there a limit to the number of leagues you can really handle?

Ideally, I try to keep it to one league. Not just for baseball, but for all fantasy sports. I find it hard to root for one player on one team, and then root against that same player from another team becuase you are playing against them.

Yea, just to pass time until football season ;-)

I always try to sign up for 2-3, because that's all I can keep up with. Generally, though, I'll sign up for twice that many and just not pay as much attention as I should.

I usually end up in 5-6 leagues...although I plan on cutting that number down to 2-3 this year.... :-)

Yes, I always plan to play in 2-3 but end up in 4 or 5... As the season progresses I find my main attention going into those very competative leagues and letting the others take second fiddle a little. But overall, I do play hard in every league I participate in till the end.....

I feel comfortable with 3-4. With just two i'm worried i'll get two middle of the pack clubs. More than four and it just gets numbing. Four seems to be the compromise I can live with.... afterall there are a few other things between April and October.

I've previously stuck to one very competitive $ league I've been with for several years. At the moment I'm trying to line up a spot in a free but hopefully competitive second league. I think I can juggle that many :-o.
