this is probably why I win my fantasy league every year.
I understand your argument and appreciated your advice, but I knew I could grab a power outfielder with my next pick or even in the next round. I saw people were starting to grab 2nd Basemen and SS's so I picked the person that I thought would be gone sooner, rather then the guy who might put up bigger numbers this year. Honestly, I think Edmonds will come back to me next pick and at that point I'll feel fine picking him. Everyone has been drafting young guys too early so far, so I went with my gut cause I think Giles was on pace for a huge year last year before he went down and he will be a top 3 2nd basemen for years. I would feel worse letting him slip away then letting Edmonds, who before last year wasn't drafted until the 8th or 9th round for the most part.
Anyway, I get your point, but there is nothing gained from coming on here with a pompous attitude like you are some mastermind. Maybe you win your league every year cause people can't stand ya after a few months and leave........
