Good sites for predicting draft positions?

Postby RAmst23 » Fri Feb 04, 2005 1:50 am

Besides visiting this site and rotochamps, and picking up a couple mags... anyone have any suggestions for sites to visit that display positional rankings? Looking for a little more input on where guys might be taken... thanks!
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

honestly you can read all the 'average' draft lists you can, but only by dooing about 50 mock drafts can you really get a feel for it.

Your in luck. The cafe offers free mock drafts all the time. Start a Post about wanting to participate in one and asking 11 other guys to join ya. This weekend I am going to try an comple a list of where guys are going in the cafe mock drafts. ;-D

I think the draft stats are great for being able to see who is under or over valued and where you might be able to wait a round or two on someone. IMO, individual mocks are not as reliable as a good set of draft stats.

Last year, iirc, ESPN and someone else (CBS? mockdraft.com?) had stats available for free, but I'm not sure if any of them will this year. I've been looking without any luck so far, so I'll let you know if I find something if you do the same.
