Furcal or Renteria

Renteria won't hit two in BOS, I can almost guarantee that. He doesn't get on consistently enough to bat that high, at least he never did in STL. I think batting in the 6 spot in that lineup last year was actually a much better position than the two hole fantasy wise. Renteria will never hit for much power, so almost always having Pujols, Edmonds, and/or Rolen on in front of him to drive in with base hits -- his strength -- and occasional HR was more valuable than being knocked in by them to get the runs.

Renteria didn't hit 2nd in STL consistantly cause he said he feels more comfortable further down in the order. My guess is he hits 6 or 7 in Boston. Everything I have seen shows Bellhorn hitting 2nd.

I would go with Renteria cause I think he has a better upside than Furcal. Although, chances are like many have said that Furcal could be a better value based on his draft spot.
