One to say he got married and one to ask if he is getting traded.
I will say this though ... from a fantasy managers point of view ..
Mike has helped bring me many, many titles, so maybe thats my obsession with him, I don't know. Maybe I refuse to beleive he is done. It is just a shame he had to spend his prime years in that NY Mess.
Yeah, it's a shame he spent his prime years going to the playoffs and going to the World Series against the Yankees and it's especially a shame that he was in NY to uplift its fans after 9/11 with a massive HR. What a shame. Piazza won a lot more playoff games with the Mets than he did with the Dodgers.
No. Piazza would have to waive his no-trade clause. So even if Minaya wanted to trade him I doubt Piazza would want want to bow out considering the Mets will have the NL East just about wrapped up in July and the playoffs would be looming.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
