Never Done a Prospect Draft

Indians utfield is very crowded right now so playing time hurts everyone. Coco is always inconsistent and had his first decent season last year afte horrid K rates in mild stints before. Don't get me rrong, Coco is ok, but the point is someone like him is easily replaced by a player in the later rounds (someone like Kotsay for example, I could get him in the 20th with similar stats), but Milledge is the next Beltran (or so it seems0 and the gamble was worth it even if he does turn out to be a bust.

Guy's, we're doing a prospect draft (0AB/IP so no Weeks, Upton etc.) in our (well Zito's) dynasty, 16 teams, this is how the 1st round went-

1 - Felix
2- Prince
3- Delmon
4- Stewart
5- Marte
6- Cain
7- Milledge
8- Hamels (pre broken hand )
9- Franceour
10- Pinto
11- Davies
12- Iguchi
13- Loewen
14- Joel Guzman
15 - Barton
16- Adam Miller

Pick 15 was mine, I took Barton, but the guy picking #16 wanted him bad so gave me that and a 9th in the real draft (I took Varitek) and #16 for him. So, without naming names, since those players may still be available, do you guys think I did the right thing? Because I 95% doubt that I would not have made that trade if Miller wasn't on the board.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to prove Zito wrong or anything like that, just trying to gather some opinions. Everyone says Barton is one of those rare players...

BTW, if it matters, I also picked Hamels as I acquired that pick predraft, and traded Coco Crisp for Milledge.

i would have taken miller over about 5 guys that were taken before him in that draft.... miller was lights out at the end of last year when he was here in Kinston for the Indians....

as far as your coco trade, i think u got robbed imo......

I disagree. I really like Coco. I think that last year was his semi-breakout year, and this year I think he will really break out. Milledge will only be ready in 2 years or so. Thats a long time.
