i think the top two guys are Delmon Young and Ian Stewart... pitchers are riskier and i woudnt recommend taking one with the first 3 picks, i dont care if he's 5 years old and throwing 150 mph.... plus, there are alot of pitchers this year just as good as Felix

It's ok to have the opinion not to take felix, cause pitchers are indeed risky. But what you just said it plain not true, there is no one just as good as Felix by a long shot right now.

AT HIS AGE, there is no one as good as Felix. I DO believe Cain is an amazing talent that is right up there with Felix, but again, Felix will be more polished when hes Cain's age.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

I LOVE the kid but I do not believe Adam Miller is a 1st round prospect.

Miller is a top 5 SP prospect IMO right now, so depending on how many teams are in the league it could be worth it.

Also another top SP that seems to slip under the radar some is Chad Billingsley, but i rank him in the top 5 as well. Don't forget Joel Guzman also, is a SS now but could move to 3B or OF.

Damn those Dodgers are their farm system heh.

there Zito goes again, bashing Miller's high ranking :*)

Guy's, we're doing a prospect draft (0AB/IP so no Weeks, Upton etc.) in our (well Zito's) dynasty, 16 teams, this is how the 1st round went-

1 - Felix
2- Prince
3- Delmon
4- Stewart
5- Marte
6- Cain
7- Milledge
8- Hamels (pre broken hand :-[ )
9- Franceour
10- Pinto
11- Davies
12- Iguchi
13- Loewen
14- Joel Guzman
15 - Barton
16- Adam Miller

Pick 15 was mine, I took Barton, but the guy picking #16 wanted him bad so gave me that and a 9th in the real draft (I took Varitek) and #16 for him. So, without naming names, since those players may still be available, do you guys think I did the right thing? Because I 95% doubt that I would not have made that trade if Miller wasn't on the board.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to prove Zito wrong or anything like that, just trying to gather some opinions. Everyone says Barton is one of those rare players...

BTW, if it matters, I also picked Hamels as I acquired that pick predraft, and traded Coco Crisp for Milledge.

Your Coco for Milledge trade was fantastic!

I'd want to hear opinions on the Miller pick, I still stand firmly by my opinion though. Especially sinse it is usually customary to take hitters in the first (Felix is exception, Cain is too probobly) sinse hitters pan out more then pitchers when they dominate in the minors.

Really? I thought I kind of ran away with that one. I traded a very young prospect who may not even make it to the majors (though he probably will) for a very young major leaguer who should go at least 20/20 for the next 7 years at least. I did give up a 16th round pick as well, but got an upcoming minor league pick, too. I would much rather have a guy already in the majors than a guy who may not even make it there.
