OPENING UP A NEW WINDOW IN XP

Postby Lofunzo » Wed Feb 02, 2005 6:24 pm

For the last day or 2, every time a new window opens up in XP, it is only half the screen rather than the whole screen. It's scrunched vertically and not horizontally. Any ideas as to what I can do so that new windows open up as a full screen??

Can't you just maximize a window and then close it? That usually sets the default opening size for me.

Thanks for being the only 1 here to actually offer me assistance. ;-7

Basically, it's just a convenience factor. Whenever I would open up a new window in the past, it would be full size. Now, I gotta maximize it first. No biggie but I thought that there might be something that I can do to change it.

Resize the window to your desired size and then exit the window. The next time you open it, it should remember the size.
