Best bets are kazmir, tomko, and street. Probably go with kazmir.

Kazmir
Byrd
Haren
Wells
Tomko
Ponson
Meche
Street
I would rank them in that order

Brett Tomko has to be one of the top two on this list. Even if he is awful for the first half, he will be an ace in the second half.
Also, remember Tomko was on of the pitchers that did not align well at all with A.J. Pierzynski. Now he is going to have one of the best pitcher managers in the game at the helm behind the plate.
Things will click for Tomko this season. He will log a full season of rock-solid play.

I like Kip Wells the best out of that group. He improved his K rate in 04 and pitched much better in the second half. Expect similar numbers to the second half and he is still very young. Kazmir and Haren would be my next choice.

I'd take
Meche
Kazmir
Haren
or
Wells
at the end of my draft
• Aaron Hill: Avoids DL Jul 12 (RotoWire)
• Aaron Hill: Headed for DL Jul 12 (RotoWire)
