With OBP and total bases, I'd grab Bonds. Next pick I'd go Tejada, who is a huge boost over the other ss. I know I'm in a miniscule minority, but I have a bad feeling about Helton this season.
Bonds is gonna go first in our draft, so he definately doesn't have a chance to be there at #7. It looks like Helton, Tejada, or Santana. Projected top 6 are Bonds, Pujols, Arod, Vlad, Beltran, and RJ.
If Bonds is gone by the time you pick - I would definitely try to get Helton. His OBP and total bases are way too good to pass up. If Helton is gone - it won't hurt you to take Tejada then.
tejada is a better pick than helton because tejada's stats are so much better than the 2nd best SS, and you can get a player that has slightly worse numbers than helton in round 3 or 4 even. with the lack of SS, tejada is better than helton.
