With OBP and total bases, I'd grab Bonds. Next pick I'd go Tejada, who is a huge boost over the other ss. I know I'm in a miniscule minority, but I have a bad feeling about Helton this season.

I would go with Tejada because of the position. You can get another offensive 1B down the line.

Tejada

Tejada, then, with OBP, go with Bonds.

Tejada is far above the other SS, so if he's there take him. If not, Bonds is a God in a league that counts OBP.

bonds is the best guy to have in a league that weighs or even has OBP in the league.

Bonds is gonna go first in our draft, so he definately doesn't have a chance to be there at #7. It looks like Helton, Tejada, or Santana. Projected top 6 are Bonds, Pujols, Arod, Vlad, Beltran, and RJ.

If Bonds is gone by the time you pick - I would definitely try to get Helton. His OBP and total bases are way too good to pass up. If Helton is gone - it won't hurt you to take Tejada then.

tejada is a better pick than helton because tejada's stats are so much better than the 2nd best SS, and you can get a player that has slightly worse numbers than helton in round 3 or 4 even. with the lack of SS, tejada is better than helton.
