If oyu are still two picks away, I would hope Crawford would still be there, but it's a good chance he won't be. He virtually locks up SB for his owner right there. Given a snake draft where you have this pick and then another pick 5 picks away, I would go with a hitter this round, and go with Teixeira if available, or perhaps David Ortiz, as they will both post monster numbers. Then in round 3, I would choose a pitcher, based on the common thought of 2 hitters, 1 pitcher commonly used in drafts

That's funny you mentioned those two guys because they have both already been selected. Teixera went 5th! Ortiz went a few picks ago. The guy on the clock picked up Santana in the first, so he won't pick up Prior. I hope he picks up power and the next guy goes with a pitcher like Schmidt or Prior. We'll see. I hate waiting.........
I'm up next in the 2nd round. Here are the available players that I'm considering:
Crawford Sheffield Thome Suzuki Prior Sheets Schmidt Michael Young O. Perez
It will come back to me 5 picks from now also.... can you list them in the value they have. My first pick was Arod by the way.
Here's how you should pick as long as this is a 5x5 roto league:
1 - Crawford
2 - Prior
3 - Ichiro
4 - Sheffield
5 - Thome
6 - Oliver Perez
7 - M. Young
8 - Sheets
9 - Schmidt
I like Sheets more then Perez though. If Prior and Crawford are gone I'll take a big bat and 5 picks later take whichever pitcher is left, probably sheets or Perez.
But if I had to decide between the 2 I like Sheets more. Maybe I'm wrong, but both players play for mediocre teams and Sheets numbers were better last year weren't they?
