I don't like ESPN, TSN to tell you the truth. The 'experts' are not that knowledgeable IMO. But they are a good source of info since a lot of people seem to use them.

Fantasy Baseball Guide 2005 is a good one. Contributors like Peter Kruetzer, Alex Patton, etc. are very smart people. The great thing about this year's edition is the cost scans for the last 5 years. You can compare what they cost each year versus what they earned.

The problem with these magazines is that the info is dated. But you make the ultimate decision on player values with the knowledge that you get from the player capsules, stats along with current events.

I got the FBG 2005 and liked it....except for one column by a league winner from '04....

can't seem to remember his name.......begins with a 'Y'......anyway

but it definately is the best out there....it gives you statistical reasons why they choose players to break out....the other magazines sort of give you "gut" calls on who will be better/worse

There is one I have really grown to like. It just says Fantasy Sports on the cover. This year has Beltran on the cover. It has a pretty good price tag of $5.99.

It doesn't have projections, but I could careless. I am not big on somebody else's projections. It breaks down each position nicely, and has a full page within each postion that shows all the stats from last year. Very easy to use when researching a certain position. It has 2 mock drafts and numerous cheat sheets depending on your league type.

this is the website listed on the cover http://www.fantasysportsmag.com
