I have a fantasy basketball question for everyone.

What chance do you think Ron Artest has of getting his suspension reduced and being allowed to play some games this season?

Artest is a FA in my league. I was thinking about picking him up and putting him on my bench. What do yall think?

Isn't there a bumsketball forum somewhere else? I think Artest will hit .245 with 22 homeruns...

Only 22 homeruns?!? Conseco Fieldhouse is such a hitter's park it's ridiculous. Dead center is what, 100 feet? I say Artest hits 30-35.

Ah, but the batter's eye is so horrible. It's a moving sea of people. But then again, I hear they just cut down on the foul territory so it's definitely a hitter's park now. But no matter, it's not the power that matters with Artest. It's the steals. Anyone who can steal that much could have an average below the Mendoza line for all I care.

dude you guys are way off, that knee is bothering him i think hell sit a few game, plus when he does play i say hell only put up a couple stolen bases and maybe a few homers but besides that im not likin him for a fantasy option unless he shows me he can get that average up

Unless you have extremely deep benches, I wouldn't touch him.

I'd avoid him unless "punching fans in the stands" or "most missed games due to suspension" are scoring catagories. I doubt he will play enough games to really help in the counting catagories.
