Durazo is DH only, so he drops off. I can see Nevin dropping off. Same with Bagwell. And, many of those 3B are better than the 1B. I mean, look at 13 and 14. Nevin and Green vs Chavez and Chipper? Im also looking at quality, not quantity.

Even with a side by side comparison you are not getting the point. Oh well...

i know the original subject is to choose between teixeira and blalock, but where does it say that thome and rolen are must-keepers over teixeira and blalock? how much do thome and rolen cost? what are the categories being scored in this league?
there are other factors, and maybe blalock and teixeira at $11 and $10 are much better keepers than thome and rolen at $20+, $30+?
Well Blalock clearly failed miserably this season. But hind sight is 20-20 and I will still say they were a lot closer in value at the beginning of the season than most people were claiming.
He had a legitimate excuse for the second half fade in 04 but none that I know of for this season. He will need to learn how to hit away from home and also lefties if he wants to improve.
On a positive note for Blalock, he figures to be pretty decent bargain for 06.

Tex is money Oh I forgot to say like 7 months ago that one of the former Rockies announcers was the one who had said Helton was on steroids. I remember him winning the "Just Shut Up" award on Mike and Mike on ESPN Radio for that
