Anyone heard a rumor that Juan Gone will take over at DH, thus moving Hafner to 1B? What odds would you lay?
It would very much change my value of Hafner.

Fair question.
Everything I've read has Broussard at 1b, Hafner at DH and Juan in the OF. But I'm not that close to the Indians.

I would think he will spend more time at 1B this season. I doubt Juan will stay healthy enough to play full time.

Yeah dang. Only 11 games at 1b last year. If you are counting on him at 1b, it may take him awhile to get there this year. It's worth keeping an eye on how they use him in ST. Does anyone really beleive Juan Gone can have a pruductive, full season? Much less productive enough to jostle with a hitter like Travis Hafner? I think not. The Indians should make a decision on Hafner. Is he going to be their 1b or their DH, reguardless of Juan Gone? I see that as the proper course of action.
