Hey guys so far i have Bonds and Helton on my team. So my question is since they will both give me great avg do you think selecting adam dunn for power with low avg is a good selection?

Dunn is a decent selection but it depends more on which pick you would use to take him and who else is available. If he is the best player than take him. Can you give us any more information?

this is in an auction league. 14 teams. My roster so far only contains Bonds and Helton, and its a standard 5x5 league.

Yeah, try to get a decent SP or SB guy. Balance is key. I would stay away from Dunn lest he help ruin the good AVG numbers Bonds and Helton give you.

And it is important to note that without seeing who is available in the draft, what the other teams have done, etc, it's hard to advise as to who would make the best pick for you.

I agree with the others, I would look at either stolen bases or pitching...saves are very important to grab if its a straight AL or NL league.
