I seem to recall the word on the street last year being that Graves would be dealt at midseason. Then with the Reds being competitive and Wagner not quite stepping up, that never happened.
This is now Graves contract year, so might not the same thing happen this year? If Graves is off to a hot start, or even a good start, wouldn't the Reds likely deal him assuming they're not in the race? I doubt they'd want to give him a nice payday with Wagner right there.
I'm just thinking that if he's possible trade bait, it might be to a team needing middle relief.

I don't think he will get traded, but you never know until the deadline approaches. Whoever is the closer for the Reds will get a lot of chances to save games because they play a lot of close games. I still think Graves will be the closer all year long though.
