Just wondering what some people think about these pitchers.

Chris Carpenter (Like him alot big year)
A.J Burnett (Always a injury risk)
Horacio Ramirez (Also Injury risk but may bounce back big)
Eric Milton (My buddys cousin so I'm kinda partial he will do good)
Joel Pinero (Good outing 3 in a row then 1 unbelievably bad outing)
Mark Prior (Is the old Prior still in there?)


How would you rank em? Why? Just fishing here so post what ya think thanks.

Here's how I would rank them:
Prior-Should bounce back nicely and return to form.
AJ Burnett-See above note
C. Carpenter-Arm problems late last year but still a good option imo.
Joel Pinero-As long as he is healthy and Seattle actually scores some runs he could be a nice pick.
Eric Milton- 14 wins with close to a 5 era. Can you say Run Support?
H. Ramierez-Most updates and mags I have read thus far are saying to be cautious with him and his injury. But if healthy he could get you 15 or 16 wins.

Here's how I would rank them:
Prior-Should reclaim his status as one of the two or three top pitchers in the world
AJ Burnett-world of talent and over a year and a half removed from elbow surgery. Kid should set the world on fire. Amazing stuff. Not better than Prior, but every bit as good as Rich Harden.
Joel Pinero-Great 2 years ago. Last year was a struggle, but he was starting to turn things around in the month preceding his injury. Very nice pick up who will be available very late.
H. Ramierez-Another great pick who will be avaliable very late. Could be a Odaliz Perez clone.
C. Carpenter-Don't trust his stuff and don't trust his health
Eric Milton-Stay away. If you thought that he gave up the gopher ball in Philly, wait until he pitches in the launching pad in Cincy.

Prior - will be back
Burnett - had an awesome second half. Huge sleeper
Pineiro - 04 was not as bad as you think. He gave up too many dingers but his other skills improved. Another big time sleeper
Carpenter - can't count on him to stay healthy. He hasn't put a full season together since 2001
Ramirez - if he can stay healthy and keep hitters off balance, he could be decent. Lack of Ks makes him less valuable
Milton - should not be on a fantasy team unless you are in a 30 team, NL only league

Prior - will be back
Burnett - had an awesome second half. Huge sleeper
Pineiro - 04 was not as bad as you think. He gave up too many dingers but his other skills improved. Another big time sleeper
Carpenter - can't count on him to stay healthy. He hasn't put a full season together since 2001
Ramirez - if he can stay healthy and keep hitters off balance, he could be decent. Lack of Ks makes him less valuable
Milton - should not be on a fantasy team unless you are in a 30 team, NL only league
