not according to espn. the cubs pay $12 mil of sammy's 2005 salary. the orioles are on the hook for $5 mil of his 2005 salary plus the $4.5 mil option (which they hope will be a moot point because they will try to sign him to an extension). doesnt really matter how you allocate it though if it all adds up to the same number.
