That had better be a twenty-four or thirty team league, otherwise you might as well just give up now. You have Santana and Ichiro, who I suppose you could stretch to the second round if you really liked him, but what exactly happened after that? 8-o

Pedantic could have been nicer about it, but I think he's right. Who did you draft 3rd? A little over halfway and you have John Buck on your roster?? Seems to me you could have waited a while on a catcher.

I didn't have a 3rd round pick or a 10th round pick. I have some extra picks for the later rounds. Buck seems like the best choice for the next 5 years over the remaining catchers and i got him for 3 bucks.

Sorry, it's not in my nature to mince words. ;-7 B-)

Anyway, you say you got Buck for $3? I assume the players are salaried then? Maybe you could post the salaries and there would be a glimmer of hope for the future in them.

To me the league rules sound a little rediculous. -1 for giving up a hit and -2 for an earned run? A pitcher can pitch a pretty good game and end up with negative points. 7 IP 3 ER 9 Hits 4 BB's 7 K's and he gets a win and ends up with -4 points? Something seems wrong here... It looks like youre drafting for ten years down the road, it's going to be a while before you can compete. I am confused about what kind of league this is. Is it an auction or a regular draft?

You might have taken the dynasty thing a bit far but with some luck, you should be able to compete in a few years.
