Isn't Madrisch the guy who asked to NOT be called up after Sept 1 in 2003? Was pitching somewhere in teh minors (MT maybe?), and had just made the playoffs with his team......asked the M's to let him alone and pitch in his playoffs. Pretty sure it was him.
That's reason alone to to make him a draft pick.

I stand completely corrected--he does get a lot of Ks. For some reason I had it in my head that he was a Dewon Brazelton type lightweight in the K department.
