Much improved...but still in an awfully tough division: 75.

Yep, but I don't think the gap will be very large at all between the top 3....Oakland will probably be in the basement.

Not very optimistic about this season. I don't think they will break .500 . :-t They will get close and win 80 games. I think Moyer is over the hill and need to be replaced.

If Sexson starts >120 games, I say they can win 90, if he gets hurt for a month or two ... then I'd say more like 75 wins.

I'd estimate they could get five more wins if they replace Moyer by the All-Star break.

With the Angles in our division, and the Red Sox or Yankees getting the Wild Card, I don't see Seattle makeing the playoffs this year. We can always hope for next year. Don't get me wrong I will still wish and hope they make the playoffs. But I don't think we have a chance in he!!.

;-D good to see we are arrousing some attention here. IMO i think Moyer will keep his job for this season, imo he will get 12-13 wins and have a better year than last, not that he can a worse one. And just to finsh it off, i think we.............................................................................................

will
..................................

not

............

make the playoffs :~(

I'd love to see the M's get into the 90s for wins, but I don't think that's going to happen with our rotation. Sure, we'll get a ton of runs across the plate (if Beltre lives up to his hype and Sexson stays injury free), but we've got to be able to have some pitching show up too.

Maybe it's time for Pinero to shine.

i agree, pitching is our weakness. i'd guess somewhere around 75-80 wins this year which will still be better than last year.
