I have a question and where better to get some answers then the cafe faithful.
This is the season of the fantasy magazine, and I have read many a post saying "magazine x is out now" or "I read magazine x and it was good/sucked/other". This prompts me to these questions.
Can you explain your preference of magazines or subscription sites. Not free sites, I am trying to compare dollars to dollars here. So this question is really for those that buy the magazines or pay for subscription sites or both.
Why one or the other?
Thanks,
TF

i havent ever bought a magazine or got a subscription to a site but
i would just say from the top of my head that it would be better to get a subscription to a site because the site would probably give u player updates and other stuff throughout the season and projections and predictions but the magazine would only give u predictins and things at the beginning of the season

Why a magazine over a website?

Try taking a computer into the bathroom

Edge magazine.

why would you rely on a magazine that went to print a month or two before your draft day????
Figure this most magazines are going to have a tough time with the delgado signing, those that waited for that still are going to have Sammy Sosa a Cub.
Websites are going to update. Especially when you look at the closer situatoin. I would love to compare what some of the magazines have down at the end of spring training to what the 'real'
picture actually looks like./

There's something about having all the info in your hand to read, any time ,any place.Of course you "also"have to keep up with all the last minute changes from the internet sources.

I like buying the magazine so when I take a sh*t, I got something useful to read.
Just my preference.

I also like having the magazines to look at before the next season. It's interesting how many of the players they recommend as a sleeper one season (or a 'rookie to watch') break out one year later.
Bah, humbug.
