He is definitely "sick!" ;-D I'm hoping he can do what he did most of last year for my Pirates!

Actually, he has been discussed here several times. Here's one big thread on his predictions for the year...

It's tough to tell. If he loses control, all hell could break loose.

For some reason I don't really like Perez. He had the best K per INN ratio last year and that's always nice. But for some reason he doesnt strike me as appealing. Could be because he plays 4 the Pirates.

For Perez though it really does come down to control. He's always been pretty nasty, it's just last year he managed to cut the walks somewhat. If he continues to mature and continues to gain more command of his pitches, watch out!! B-)

lol. true. :-b

ollie p is awesome. this guy's stuff is unbelievable. ;-D i hope the pirates are able to keep him for many years, otherwise Mercer Boy will cry.

if the pirates could get some more offense, it would certainly help perez fantasy-wise. let's hope jason bay can provide some of it.

he posted a 10.97 K9 last year. no starter was better than him in that category. ;-D

He's awesome, but his prpoblem is far from ideal control. He walks too many. If he fizes that he'll be one of the best pitchers in baseball. And the guy is only 23 so it's very possible he gains better control over the next couple years.
