I gotta go with Perez. He should improve on last years stats and become an top 10 pitcher in the NL.

Yeah, looks like Perez is the overwhelming favorite. He has jumped to the Pirates "hope for the future" in a very short amount of time. All I can say is that if he does become a top-flight pitcher, the Pirates need to use whatever "financial flexibility" (I am tired of that term) they have and lock this guy up. He can bring in the fans and hopefully bring in many wins for the Bucs. ;-D

agreed. and considering that there was an attendence spike every time he pitched late last season, he's an MVP in more ways than one

What about Jason Bay? An injury free season will make him even better than last year. Sophomore slump is always a possibility but let's hope not. I vote - Jason Bay for Pirates MVP.
