Looking for a dedicated & active owner

Postby johnd24_42 » Fri Jan 28, 2005 2:26 pm

Hello everyone,

I realize that I'm not a veteran of this board, but I wanted to run this by all of you because I already really love this board and think that it is a phenomenal source of fantasy baseball owners, from the short time that I've read it.

I am an owner in what is the best fantasy baseball league I've ever been a part of and an owner had to drop out of the the league today. Let me tell you a little about it, first of all. Like the heading says, it is a 16 team mixed head to head points league and it is in its third year of existence. It is an auction league with salaries, contracts and a deep minor league system.

The commissioner of the league asked me if I knew anyone that might be willing to take over the team and I immediately thought of this board, knowing that many competitive and active guys who love to talk fantasy baseball peruse this board all the time. I know it's sort of late to be asking - our league auction is on February 27.

Still, I was hoping that a person on here would be dedicated, very active and competitive might be interested. Either way, please e-mail me at mailto:johndiaz3@hotmail.com and I would be more than eager to go over more of the finer points of the league and his roster as well. The league's offseason guide website is HERE. Maybe we can talk on AIM as well. My name there is beatlejpgr27.

I hope very much to hear from you and if you are dedicated, very active and competitive, you'd be a perfect fit in the league.

John

Thanks anyway, guys. The league was lucky enough to land a forum member of the Cafe who took the trouble to e-mail a long, passionate message as to why he wanted to be in the league and why he felt he'd be good for ownership of the open franchise.

Opted for this rather than a one-line message on the board in response. Thanks for the interest though.
