Who do I pick at #7???

Postby davidmarver » Wed Jan 26, 2005 10:46 pm

It is a head to head keeper league...I have pick #7.

First three picks have been Albert Pujols, Miguel Tejada, and Vladimir Guerrero...who should my priority be at #7?

Guess it would depend on who is taken at 4,5, and 6. Get the best available player. Somebody along the lines of Bonds, Helton, Soriano, ManRam will most likely be available.

Beltran, Arod, Manny, Helton/Abreau in that order IMO.

I would guess you'll be able to get one of Beltran, Manny, Helton.... ;-D
After that there's Bonds, Soriano, Abreu that could all be chosen.

Great answer Tavish. You've got great potential in the 7th spot. I will bet that Bonds and Soriano are still there...take Soriano and then come back with the best overall player. You will have locked up the best 2B by far.

At the 7th spot, assuming Beltran and A-Rod will be gone, I'd say Manny or Abreu. Or if Peavy makes it that far, take him.

OK I'm just kidding... don't turn this into another Peavy thread.

Oh yeah, and it is a 6x6 league head to head. (OPS and holds).

That may change some opinions.

Any time OPS or OBA is involved Bonds instantly shoots to the top of the list, or pretty close to it. It's hard not to pick him if he makes it that far.

I agree with the Jackal, though I can't see Bonds going that far down in a league that counts OPS...forget holds at this early round.

OPS?

Hope Bonds falls to you then.
