I had him on my radar screen going into last year, and picked him up in the late rounds. He was off to a good start until he went down with an injury.
Should I try and grab him late again this year?

I have a relative who is hosting a player for the Colorado Rockies instructional League......this player is friends with Horacio and told me he spoke with him last week and claims Ramirez is looking forward to this season and is ready to go. Take it for what it's worth, but that's the word on the street.

I would figure that most ball players are looking forward to the season and are ready to go.

I don't like him... he has a bad K/BB and has never been very good. he was off to a horrible start last year but had a low ERA by fluke. It was much worse than his rookie season. If he pitched like that all year he'd have been lucky to have an ERA below 4.75. Don't fall into the trap of believing a stat as volatile as ERA, especially with such a small sample size.

I've always had Horacio on my radar screen ever sense he entered the league. This year I'm guessing he'll start as the Braves 4th starter. And a plus side to the situation is he plays for the Braves. The Braves play in a pitcher's park and have one of the best pitching coaches of all time in Leo Mazone. I say take him in the late rounds, as a 4th or 5th starter.
