Straight value comparison.

Without taking into account any personal rosters, who would you most like to have on your team this year?

I see it as:

Peavy SP
Rollins SS
Damon OF

but not really sure.

Thanks O:-)

Is there really that big of a gulf between the three?

Well Rollins and Peavy might be closer than that... bt not much. Damon I don't like because I think he's due for a decline in just about every category. Not just SB's like last year. But we'll see... he could do it again, I just don't think he will.

what!?!?!?

for a different perspective - lets look at what each would have earned you in a standard 5x5 roto league last yr:

Peavy - $25.69
Rollins - $27.79
Damon - $36.74

Give me Damon - even if he falls off, the other two have to put up BETTER numbers to beat Damon.

I'm with cornbread on this one, which is strange since he and I rarely agree. ;-)

I'd take Damon easily. So many people are sky-high on Peavey. I like him, but he's a young pitcher who missed a number of games last year with a bad arm. He could easily flame out in 2005.

I am the Master. Don't question the Master. Just do what he says and be proud.

I've got them real close together...

Peavy
Damon
Rollins

Depending on what I needed though I could have these three in all different orders. Peavy is a potential top 10 SP and Damon should put up better numbers than Rollins but with Rollins at SS it puts him really close to what Damon does as an OFer.
