89-23-99-12-.270
this puts him at #3 2B for me. he's above giles only b/c giles finds a way to miss games pretty well. the addition of beltre and sexson will help a lot in lifting other Ms' stats.
TennCare rocks!!!!

In your mind....
...picture a smurf.
...Now picture a smurf on roids.
...Now picture Bret Boone.
Isit coincidence he falls back to his pre-breakout norms the same year roids testing is in place?...yeah right.

Watch him in ST. If he pulls a Jason Giambi, then you know what to do.

He'll never have a season like he had a few years ago but .270 avg 25 hr 90rbi 10sb seem reasonable. Not too shabby for a 2B.

I'm waiting for spring training before I judge Boone. I know he fought through a bad back early last year, then had laser surgery right after the season to correct a vision problem. If he doesn't come out raking in ST, though, I'm gonna have to bump him down some.
Possible range:
.258 74 24 86 7
up to
.295 91 33 104 12
Right now, it's anyone's guess (and will depend a lot on how the team bounces back with the new offensive configuration).
