I have 2 commish leagues, one was paid for 2 weeks ago and is fine, the other has your ugly message on it. I would guess that its merely a snafu in the payment system..
wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that no one outside of mlb.com has a license for 2005 yet - since the deal with the MLBPA was announced, we haven't seen any licenses be issued yet
Interestingly, at the bottom of the Sportsline, Fantasy page, they have the NFL and the NBA player association logos but not the MLB anymore. They used to. I know that if its a licensing thing, then a big corp like Sportsline will pay up, but I'm not so sure about any free sites, like Yahoo.
One of the other websites has this same discussion.....one member said he called up sportsline, who told him that it has nothing to do with the whole MLB licensure stuff--- just that they were updating the system and would be back soon......
I'm worried about yahoo. In the past, you have always been able to go to the fantasy baseball home and read the rules, commissioner tools, etc. If you go there now, that info is not available. AND, didn't 2004 leagues get taken down at about the same time the the agreement was reached by MLB and the players? Somebody ease my mind, please.
Hmmm, I hope this becomes clear soon. I went to sign up my league today and couldn't do it. We were planning on switching to Sportsline this year. Does anybody know about MLB.com offering fantasy baseball?
