I'm ashamed to admit it. But after the first month in my league last year his ERA was over 5.00, which was my trigger point, and I dropped him. Then as my luck would run, he came on like gangbusters. If you draft him, be patient and stay with him!
I agree with the majority that he is not going to repeat 04. He is a phenomenal pitcher for sure and has a bright future ahead of him but I don't think he can keep it at this level for another year. Sorry. Ain't gonna happen.

I said equal... he won't have quite the same torrid second half he did last year, but I don't think he'll have the same awful start either, so all things considered the numbers will be similar.

this was probably around the same time that I got him for Brandon Webb ... I rode that transaction to 1st place. He really was amazing last year, not only were his numbers great, but his dual eligibility really came in handy.
