they have said on the news that the mets have an announcement set for tomorrow afternoon so maybe that will clear some of this up .. we shall see but i think it will be travis lee but im hopin for sweeney whos a long shot who noone has mentioned but hes rumored to want out of KC

sweeney would be VERY intersting... but not sure if adding another injury prone player is a good idea. .. i think it'll be Olerud

Should just have signed Lee or Olerud. Mienk can't hit much either, so why bother?

fielding, age, health.. and he can hit for avg ... he brings alot more to a real team then fantasy team i guess

Olerud is still a fine fielder also. I thought Lee was too. Depends on the type of prospect they gave up, but if they traded anyone worth anyting I think they were foolish. 1b is easy to fill and I am sure someone could be acquired at the trading deadline if they really needed someone to contend.
