Pena sure faces some long odds there, eh?

I don't know if I'm buying into the local media hype or what, but I
really like him as a good sleeper. Maybe not for the immediate future (until 2/3 of the OF is on the DL), but like slomo said, he's got unbelievable power and when he finally got consistent PT he was one of the best hitters the Reds had IMO -- which isn't saying much, but still.

Quote from Cincy reporter:
''I've seen (Willie) McCovey, (Willie) Stargell, George Foster and Big Mac, all those guys, take batting practice. And without sounding like a whole bunch of hyperbole, he hits the ball as hard as any man I've ever seen.''
Dude has some POWER

Plus his name is Wily! That must count for something

I will keep my eyes open for this guy in my draft. For three reasons:
1) He is good.
2) He has power and we all know chicks dig the long ball!
3) I like the chances of any of the Reds OF going down in fromt of him due to injury. Those guys hang out at the Red Cross!
