as your #3 wow, you must like to draft pitchers early and have a stud staff to get czam as your #3.
Either that, or i'm just not as sold as most other people are on him. If i was able to take him at 3, id grab him, but probably nothing higher. I still would like to see another year of what he did in 04.
Then look no further than 2003
This guy has had 2 amazing years in a row... and he improved even more last year IMO. Hell 2002 was a pretty good rookie year I'd say. He's very under-rated.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

I stand corrected!
Ok, maybe its just his age and that he plays for Dusty Baker that has me a little worried about him. I dunno.....
I don't know anything about drafts because all we've ever done is straight league drafts. I have him in the last year of his contract at 6 and plan on extending him to 11 and keeping him next season through 2006. He's very underrated in my opinion.
i keep thinking the league will catch up to him but they never do. the only thing i am concerned about is getting abused by dusty baker but its hard to incorporate that since pretty much all pitchers have a certain degree of injury risk. i dont see him topping 200k's though. more like 180.
