Dosen't Dempster walk a ton of guys when he does pitch? I mean even when he was healthy he gave up BB a ton!!! That can't be good in any closer, sorry Cub fans.
from what i have read the media thinks dempster is or should be the closer. however, dusty keeps saying latroy is still in the running, and dusty is the one who makes the call. given how much leeway he gave borowski, i think latroy starts the season as the closer. he was shaky at times but overall his numbers didnt seem too bad:

MIL: Adams, imo capellan at one point this season...
look right?
I disagree with the part about Capellan, agree with Adams. The organization is fairly deep with hitters, but the top pitching prospects (Mike Jones, Manny Parra, Chris Saenz, etc) have run into a myriad of injury problems. The organization is going to want to give Capellan every chance to start just because we need starters. I think, barring a tremendous breakout spring, he'll be in the AAA rotation in Nashville. I think he'll have to prove he can't handle starting before moving him to any capacity of bullpen pitching.
